Perhaps it was Breda who said it best when she said that Solomon was a good boy, he just couldn't control what he did. Unfortunately, when you're five years old and no one can get close to you without collapsing into painful delusions, these words aren't very comforting. Solomon shouldn't have survived long past his birth, but it was through the efforts of Amaya Hajime and his God Complex that his life was prolonged. His father was apparently also an Evil Eye user, and people wonder what it is about him that caused him to only get part of his father's powers. At first he had a companion in Breda, his nanny, but after she was fired he was locked in his room day in and day out, his only company being the people who are sent to him to "punish". In her own twisted way, Wilhelm does love him. But like with anyone else, she often considers what they have that she can use before she considers her own feelings of them. Solomon dislikes being touched and only lets certain people get close to him.
