Kaneko is the youngest of the Goshoku Sisters, and the first employee to work at Amaya Hajime's hotel. Although she is the most cheerful and energetic sister, she is also the one who is most afraid of Amaya Hajime. She was a runaway and never talks about the reason why she ran away from home, and when she wasn't even thirteen yet Amaya took her in with promises of a home and began to experiment on her. She knows what she is is unnatural and hates what was done to her, so she puts on a smiling face and a cheerful façade. Kaneko is also very clumsy, one of the reasons she doesn't have a formal role at the hotel. She isn't used to her body, which is twice as heavy as it should be because of the amount of metal in her. Her grip is nicknamed "iron grip".
