Mini-Biography

Amai looks and acts exactly like her father, and she wouldn't have it any other way. She often feels she is superior to others, and usually she's right. With a talent for singing, songwriting, and keyboards and a good head for business Amai is the rightful heir to Seguchi Touma's music dynasty and therefore her father's pride and joy. While sometimes her attitude can come off as smug or superior, she is generally a laid back, easy going person. But be careful: she's actually a snake in the grass, ready to strike at a moment's notice. She also inherited a short temper from her mother, and with her skills in debate she is a very formidable opponent indeed. Not even her father can defeat her in a war of words, something that some people note with smug satisfaction and something that makes people wary of this teenage heir-apparent. Because of her resemblance to her father she is considered a tomboy, though it's not hard to coax her into wearing a dress. She is friendly toward her timid twin brother and tries to help him, but because she is not the most understanding of people she really doesn't do a very good job of this.

Love/Friendship

Being so work oriented, Amai seldom has time to make friends, let alone persue romantic interests. However, it seems she has set her sights on Alexander Sakuma-Winchester, and will do anything to have him, including fight Ukai Saki for him. Her rival (and, grudgingly, bandmate) is Ukai Saki, and being that neither are exactly friendly or patient people their spats can sometimes get ugly. She also makes a sincere effor to befriend her brother and has established herself as a powerful ally in his eyes (because she has so much influence over her father) but because she isn't very sensitive to the feelings of others she isn't considered a friend by him.

Family

Amai grew up worshipping her father. She thinks he is a genius buisnessman and great person, and leaps at the chance to impress him. However, when she feels she is right and he is wrong she will not hesitate to tell him so, and will argue her point should the need arise. She dislikes her father's fiancé, however, and often argues with her father about her. She isn't very tolerant of alternative lifestyles, however, and tends to completely ignore the fact that her father is bisexual. This intolerance also lead to her never getting very close to her uncle. Though she is generally friendly toward him and his lover (Shuichi is her producer) and never verbally objects to their relationship, she never visits for very long unless it's unavoidable. She is also generally friendly toward her mother, but this is mostly so she can manipulate her into doing things for her or her brother, something that makes Mika feel her daughter doesn't genuinely love her. Amai also makes an effort to reach out to her brother and refuses to give up on him, and doesn't realize that her brand of help is actually hurting him more. Tokui only regards her as an ally, someone who can help him get whatever he wants (what little that he ever wants, that is) and she also defended him during his brief, disasterous stint at school at the risk of her own social status.

Strange Habits

Amai is an amatuer astrologist and consults the stars for everything. Every morning she does star charts for everyone. It doesn't matter that she's not close to them or that they don't believe in astrology or don't want their charts done. She also takes what her charts tell her as gospel, and lets them influence how she lives her life and treats people. Sometimes she also uses her astrology as a mask for her real feelings (she claims Touma shouldn't marry his fiancé because Scoprio and Virgo are incompatible signs when she really just wants her father for herself) and sometimes uses it as a way of indirectly showing she supports something she doesn't want to confess to.
